In this flashback clip, Charlamagne and Vlad discussed the power of their platforms and how Hip-Hop media has the power to positively or negatively impact an artist's career. Charlamagne referenced his earlier years on the Breakfast Club when he gave Diddy "Donkey of the Day" for the release of his album, "Last Train to Paris." He recalled Diddy calling and screaming at him over the criticism. During a later conversation, Diddy explained to Charlamagne that such criticism during the initial release of the album could have hurt the commercial response to the project, causing Charlamagne to reconsider how and when he critiques an artist's project.
