First Painting of the Year ????

Every January, I get restless with the way I paint! Craving something fresh, something different. This time, I decided to dive into the never ending goal of getting looser and more abstract with my art! To push myself, I started with a big brush and let things flow ☺️

At first, it felt exciting, but somewhere along the way, I overworked it. The mess I created started to feel overwhelming, and when I tried to clean it up, I didn’t feel confident Anymore. And honestly, I feel it shows.

But here’s the thing: messing up is part of the process. ????
I’m learning to embrace these moments instead of beating myself up about them. This painting may not be perfect, but it’s a stepping stone toward growth. Next time I’m aiming for that sweet spot of a controlled mess ????

Art is full of highs and lows, but both sides teach us something valuable. And I’m here for all of it ✨
