Today I pushed the limits a little too far. I attempted Beer O'Clock Hill (a few times actually) and eventually I made the call to full send it. The result came at a cost - my BYD Shark 6 copped some serious damage, and truthfully, it could’ve gone way worse.
I shared the video because I believe in showing the real, raw moments - not just the clean wins. But after watching it back, I realised I also need to acknowledge that what I did wasn’t the smartest or safest call. It was a heat-of-the-moment decision, not something I’d recommend to anyone out on the tracks. I've set a bad example and I am sorry to my Shark following community.
4WDing is all about calculated risk and respect for the vehicle and terrain. I stepped over the line this time, and that’s on me. I’ll own it, learn from it, and figure out a way forward from this.
Appreciate everyone who’s along for the ride - the wins, the fails, and everything in between.
