Global streaming service Spotify announced that girl group BLACKPINK was the most-streamed South Korean female group or artist on its platform last year.
According to data released on Thursday, South Korean female groups or artists were streamed over twenty-four billion times globally in 2023, which is a more than 6-hundred percent increase compared to 2018.
NewJeans, TWICE, LE SSERAFIM and FIFTY FIFTY followed BLACKPINK as the next most-streamed groups.
Spotify said it released the list to celebrate International Women's Day on Friday, March 8th.
