Upgrading your camera can come with a lot of ‘hidden’ costs. In the example I go over, I assume an upgrade from APSC to Full Frame - but the impact can be just as bad (or worse) when switching camera systems entirely (from one brand to another).

Even upgrading a lens - like I’m considering the Sony 28-70 f2.0 - that requires a 95mm filter. I only have 82mm filters, so I’d have to purchase new ones…

I definitely recommend making some kind of table where you can tally up all of the potential costs associated with a gear / camera upgrade before executing the purchase…these things really add up quickly and can make you reconsider the upgrade once the total cost is realized.
