Benjamin Ossa's latest exhibition at Sobering Galerie - Paris, entitled "Bringing Home All That Glow," represents an impressive showcase of his artistic talent through an eclectic selection of drawings, photography, and kinetic sculptures which together work as a whole to create a multifaceted work of art. These unique works project intricate shadow plays, captivating the gallery space and entrancing the viewer with a mesmerizing display of light and form. Ossa's art seeks to unravel the enigma of everyday life and uncover the hidden patterns that exist within the realm of uncertainty. Through his captivating visual vocabulary, the artist provides us with vital clues to his own intimacy and connection to the mysteries of the universe.

Ossa's drawings, in particular, represent a magnificent exploration of his visual grammar utilizing superposed layers of colored paper to create an array of imaginative compositions. In the "Red Net" series of cut drawings, which Ossa has been exploring since 2011, the artist shows his masterful use of shadows and backlighting creating a breathtaking effect, evoking visions of macro and microcosms, atoms, molecules, and sonar waves. Imagining these drawings in relation to art that deals with architecture, one could say that Ossa opens Matta-Clark's wall perforations in a scale and material similar to the models photographed by Thomas Demand.
His circular shapes, symbolic of the convergence that the artist has found over two decades of research, represent a primordial shape, a key concept that features prominently throughout his work. The circle's symbolism extends beyond its primal roots; it represents the perfection of closure, the circles float, impact one another and signify the end of a journey, and the beginning of a new one.

Ossa's "Dibujos para perderse" series of large-format drawings offer a complementary experience to the exhibition. The use of silver ink on black surfaces creates an immersive experience that transports the viewer to another world. Through the use of small gestures, the artist creates art that compels the viewer to lose themselves in its intricacy and brilliance. Ossa's exhibition is a testament to his unique talent and his unwavering dedication to his craft.

Benjamin Ossa's "Bringing Home All That Glow" is an outstanding example of the experimentalism and boundary-pushing that emblematizes much of the current Chilean art scene. Like many of his South American contemporaries, Ossa fearlessly ventures into new forms of expression, taking advantage of a diverse range of media to create works that are both visually dazzling and conceptually intricate.
