Please welcome to this episode of Bass N Bake the multi talented artist, guitar player, singer songwriter, my dear friend Jen Majura!
We are gonna be making a very special Thai dish that requires a lot of steps and also some smelly but yummy ingredients.
This dish was delicious but the process is definetly interesting ;)
She also shared with us a few fun facts, and what's new for 2023.
Hope you have as much fun as we did.

Thai food originated with the people who emigrated from the southern Chinese provinces into modern day Thailand many centuries ago.
This dish is a traditional family recipe from the south.
The smelly Kra Bi paste is stir-fried with rice before adding a variety of individual toppings.
Thais use Nam Pla ( fish sauce) instead of salt tp season their food, wich give you a typical Thai flavors, also their cuisine is often known for slightly sweetening their meats ( like pork or beef ) with palm sugar before adding soy sauce to give it the typical mix of sweet and salty taste.
