Avatar 2 Clay Art ！Amazing Clay Artwork !

12 years ago I saw a movie that truly amazed me
Yes it is Avatar !
This movie has so many amazing features and effects.
Huge production scale， Breathtaking immersive 3D technical effects
Unbelievable imagination.
There's so much to talk about in Avatar
But for me, by far the most interesting, is the image creation of the characters.

Blue skin, cat-like expressions and eyes; bat-shaped ears; zebra-like dark skin markings
And the firefly-like stars that flashed on the skin at night, all these fascinate me.
The most wonderful part Is how Animals and Humans are organically combined to create the half human, half animal characters.
I would like to share the differences I see between Avatar and humans with my clay work (sculpture).

Most Avatar characteristics appear to come from cats, with deep yellow eyes and a nose that is much wider than humans. Also their expressions and actions seem very much like cats too.
Their nose and near facial features are similar to felines, but not so strong, allowing them to still feel human-like.

The avatar ear is an exception. It is not thick and round like a cat. I think they seem similar to the ears of bats. I checked google, it says that the hearing of bats is the most sensitive of mammals. I think the creators may also want to give Avatar more powerful hearing ability.

Human ears are set between the eyebrows and nose, while Avatar's ears are high on the side of the head like animals. This feature is probably the part of Avatar that I think is the least human-like.

They have zebra-like patterns on their skin, but different colors
There are many other elements, such as clothing/hair, from different indigenous cultures,
Avatar is a collection of many characteristics of humans and animals
These combinations of familiar elements are also what make us feel comfortable and intimate with these characters.

Avatar's image and spirit also symbolize a kind of idealism, compared to us, they are tall, strong ，healthy, simple, and innocent, and I think that's why we all like them.

这部电影当中有无数的东西令大众惊叹
庞大的制作规模 令人叹为观止身临其境的3D技术效果
丰富的想象力
阿凡达里有太多说不完的话题
而对于我，最为关注和感兴趣的则是人物的形象创造
蓝色的皮肤，猫科动物的眼睛和表情，蝙蝠形的耳朵, 身体表面斑马形的皮肤暗纹，
还有夜间在皮肤上闪现的萤火虫般的星星点点，宛若日月星辰都令我着迷

阿凡达人物系列的创造最让我着迷的是，它把动物和人类有机地结合在一起，似人非人，似兽非兽。
接下来我会一边做泥塑（雕塑）一边跟大家聊一聊，阿凡达人物的和人类有哪些不同（区别），不同之处出自于哪里。

阿凡达大都数的特征来自于猫科动物，晶莹深邃的黄色眼球，跟人类相比宽很多的鼻梁。他们的表情，动作都跟猫科动物非常接近。
他们的鼻头特征和猫科动物相似，但没有那么强烈，这让他们看上去更符合人类和动物特征的过度。

但阿凡达的耳朵是一个例外，它并没有取自猫科动物又厚又圆的耳朵，而是和蝙蝠的耳朵相似，我查了一下google , 听说蝙蝠的听力是哺乳动物中最灵敏的。我想这可能是电影剧组创作团队，希望赋予阿凡达更强大的能力。

正是由于这个耳朵出自于猫科动物之外的动物，安在阿凡达身上感到不太协调，这也是他们看上去总是有点怪的原因。阿凡达的耳朵位置很高，人类的耳朵在眉毛和鼻子之间，而阿凡达的耳朵就像动物一样，在头部侧面很高的地方。这个特征大概是阿凡达的形象里，我认为跟人类最不相似的一个部分。

他们的皮肤上有斑马一样的纹路，但颜色不同
其它还有很多元素，比如服饰/头发，都来自于不同的土著文化，
阿凡达身上集合了众多地球上人类和动物的特征
这些似曾相似的元素交织在一起，也是让我们感到亲切的原因。

阿凡达的形象和精神也象征着一种理想主义，相比我们，他们高大，坚强，健康，质朴，纯真，我想这也是我们都喜欢他们的原因。
