A number of artists today gathered at the Uganda National cultural center with an agenda of peaceful demonstration. The artists want the government to consider relief finance for the arts sector, suffering under restrictions intended to stop the spread of COVID-19, easing the nine months ban of music entertainment. Instead, the police called off the match and the Ministry of Gender, labour and social development has called for a meeting with the artists to resolve the matters. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition
