This artist spends hours meticulously creating highly detailed art, only to destroy it moments later.
But why would He do that?
Well it turns out that the print was never the point - it was just a small part of something much bigger.
Because after spending hours carefully engraving his art into the wood blocks and printing them onto paper, he cuts them into smaller segments - creating a stock of material for the next step
Then he carefully selects the right pieces and assembles the fragments into a collage, giving the artwork depth and dimension
And once the framing is complete, this is the final result
