A heartfelt tribute was paid to renowned Punjabi comedian and actor Jaswinder Singh Bhalla, who recently passed away. In a touching gesture of respect, a local artist from the village of Ghall Kalan in Moga district, Punjab, sculpted a statue of Jaswinder Bhalla to honor his memory. The artist, Manjit Singh, shared that he was working in his fields when he came across the heartbreaking news of Bhalla’s de@th on social media. Deeply moved, he immediately returned home and decided to create a statue as a personal tribute to the legendary comedian, who he considered very close to his heart.
“It took me about four to five hours to complete the statue,” said Manjit Singh. “We grew up listening to his cassettes, and over time, I even had the opportunity to meet him personally. He was not just a great artist, but also a humble human being loved by people across the country.”v
