Having worked with everyone from Taylor Swift to Waylon Jennings to AC/DC producer Mutt Lange, as well as scoring feature films, touring the world, and playing at author Bryan Smith's wedding, Jonathan Yudkin has had a career that could fill up a dozen memoirs.
Recently, he came to Pennsylvania to visit writer Brian Keene. While driving around, the two of them got to discussing the intersection between art and creativity and magic and science. Jonathan is fascinated by how surgeons are exploring operating not with scalpels, but with vibrations (and how music is just those same vibrations). And Brian is fascinated by Alan Moore's theory that writing is a form of magic, adhering to the same rules as other magical disciplines.
So, they drove to the center of Rehmeyer's Hollow, the real-life location and inspiration for Brian's fictional LeHorn's Hollow, and decided to do some invoking of our own.
What happens is magical.
