Dorothy Fieldman Fraiberg, pianist, founder and Artistic Director of Allegra and Bach Before Bedtime, holds a master’s degree from the University of Montreal and studied with Paul Loyonnet and Nadia Reisenberg of New York. Co-founder of the River Tree Arts Festival in Kennebunkport, Fieldman Fraiberg taught at Sir George Williams University and was Director of Music at the Saidye Bronfman Centre. She has performed as a soloist with the McGill Chamber Orchestra and as a chamber musician in Canada, the United States, India, Singapore and Russia, as well as recorded on the Atma label.

Simon Aldrich, called "a spectacular player" by The Los Angeles Times and holder of a doctorate and two masters degrees from Yale University, is currently Principal Clarinet of l'Orchestre Métropolitain and Assistant Professor of Music at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music. Aldrich has performed as soloist with the Toronto Symphony among other orchestras. With Nouvel Ensemble Moderne he has performed across Canada, the United States, England, France, Belgium, Germany, Australia and Japan. He is heard regularly on CBC and has recorded for the Deutsche Grammophon, Atma and Analetka labels, among others.

Alexander Lozowski completed Bachelor's and Master's degrees at McGill University and the University of Toronto. He has performed on tours of Asia, Europe and the United States with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, with whom he has also played in Carnegie Hall. Avidly interested in musical outreach, he plays regularly in hospitals, extended care facilities, and other non traditional venues. Awards have included grants from the Anne Burrows Foundation, the Winspear Foundation, the Chalmers Foundation and the Alberta Arts Foundation.

Pierre Tourville studied at the Conservatoire de Montréal, where he obtained first prize in viola and chamber music in the class of Robert Verebes. He also studied at the New England Conservatory in Boston. He is very active in the musical life of Montreal, as a chamber music and orchestra player. He is assistant principal viola in the Orchestre Métropolitain and is also the choir conductor of his beloved orchestra.

Sheila Hannigan graduated from the Université de Montréal with a Master’s in Performance under the direction of M. Yuli Turovsky. She also participated in masterclasses in Banff and Switzerland, and is heard regularly with many Montreal ensembles such as L'Orchestre Métropolitain, I Musici, and l'Opéra de Montréal. Ms Hannigan is a member of the ensemble Cordâme, prix Accès culture 2016, the Romulo Larrea Tango Ensemble, with whom she has toured Europe and the United States, and PPS Danse, touring Quebec and Canada with Corps Amour Anarchie and Danse Lhasa Danse.

Marc Denis completed his studies at the University of Montreal, where he obtained his Master’s degree in 1991. Very active in the orchestral scene, Mr. Denis has been associate principal double bass with the Orchestre Métropolitain since the inauguration of the ensemble. He is also principal double bass with the Orchestre Symphonique de Laval and the Orchestre des Grands Ballets Canadiens. He has appeared as a soloist at the Maison des Arts de Laval as well as with the Longueuil Chamber Orchestra. An active chamber musician, Marc has performed with Violons du Roy, IMusici, Sinfonia de Lanaudière, KIOSQUE ensemble, Appassionata ensemble, SMCQ and McGill Chamber Orchestra.
