അഭിനേതാക്കളുടെ സംഘടനയായ ‘അമ്മ’യും, പ്രഥമ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ഇന്ത്യൻ ദിനപത്രമായ 'മാധ്യമ'വും, ധനവിനിമയ രംഗത്തെ ആഗോള സ്ഥാപനം 'യൂനിമണി'യും, ആരോഗ്യ മേഖലയിലെ രാജ്യാന്തര നാമമായ 'എൻ.എം.സി' ഗ്രൂപ്പും ചേർന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്ത മേഖലകളിൽ വ്യക്തിമുദ്ര പതിപ്പിച്ച 51 പ്രതിഭകൾക്ക് ആദരമായി മലയാളത്തിലെ അക്ഷരങ്ങളുടെ പേരിൽ വീടുകൾ സമർപ്പിക്കുന്ന പദ്ധതിയാണ് ‘അക്ഷരവീട്’

The Project ‘AKSHARAVEEDU’ is a joint venture of Gulf Madhyamam, UAE Exchange- NMC Group and AMMA. Through ‘AKSHARAVEEDU’, Madhyamam aims to provide 51 houses to homeless people, who have made a mark in the society in various fields across the State. The project is backed by the enormous support of Unimoni-NMC Healthcare Group. The involvement of AMMA, association of movie artistes in Kerala, is indeed an added boost to the mission. Having prominent architect Padma Shri G Shankar on board to look after the designing and constructions of the project is sure to assure the successful completion of the mission.
There are scores of artists who helped the formation of our cultural taste and spread the greatness of our art forms around the world and several others who dedicated their life for noble causes such as environment-protection, sports, and cultural transformation. Unfortunately, some of them are left behind in back alleys of our fast-moving life, finding it difficult to meet their ends in the day-to-day life.
‘AKSHARAVEEDU’ is a mission to honour them, a small but meaningful effort to give them back what they gave to the society with their life. A prime focus of the mission is to boost communal harmony, rejuvenate social values and spread brotherhood.
