Abstract Painting Acrylic Texture Using Paper Wrap - Step-by-Step Art Tutorial

In this video, I’ll guide you through the process of creating a stunning abstract painting with textured effects using paper wrap. I started by attaching the paper wrap to a canvas, shaping folds to give it an industrial feel. These folds create visible lines across the canvas, evoking the look of metallic panels. Some sections of the paper are crumpled to add an even more dynamic and contrasting texture.

Once the paper is applied, I strengthen it using a hardener—specifically Powertex in this case—to ensure durability. The painting process involves a beautiful combination of leaf green, permanent green, and white acrylic paints. I also incorporate walnut ink to bring depth and variety to the piece. Throughout the video, I’ll demonstrate different application techniques, including brushwork and sponge blending, to achieve unique effects.

This tutorial is perfect for exploring how texture and color can work together to create a visually striking, industrial-inspired abstract painting. I hope it inspires you to experiment with your own creative ideas! ????✨
