In this episode of Adventure and Art, I go deep — into memory, impermanence, photography, and why any of it matters. It’s not a gear review or a walkaround shoot. It’s a ramble, a rant, and a reflection. I dig into a box of old family photos, talk about losing my parents, and wrestle with how our relationship to photography has changed. I also test out the LUMIX S9 with a tiny manual Voigtländer lens, walk around shooting in JPEG with a real-time LUT, and print out my photos on cheap Kinko’s cardstock — just to make something tangible. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating, sharing, and maybe leaving something behind that lasts. If you’re an artist, a photographer, or just someone asking “What’s it all for?”, this one’s for you.
