Famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright left his wife Kitty for a woman named Mamah Borthwick. The affair caused a scandal. Wright set about building a sanctuary for the two, Taliesin, set in the hills of Wisconsin. While Wright was away working, one of the house servants, Julian Carlton went on a rampage. He took an axe to Mamah, her two children, and several of the carpenters working on the property. When it was all over with, seven people were dead.
