Before rushing into the next season, it’s important to look back and remember. Reflecting on what God has done over the past year helps anchor us in gratitude and reminds us of His goodness as we continue to navigate the daily grind.

2025 was full—stretching, refining, growing, and reminding us what really matters.

This year we started building our kennel and are so close to finishing it. We found out we’re expecting a baby girl in March 2026, which still feels surreal and sweet all at once. The children began violin and guitar lessons and have been advancing in their jiu-jitsu skills in ways that make us so proud.

We welcomed three litters of puppies this year, including Benelli’s retirement litter this summer and Kimber’s retirement litter this winter—both very special milestones for our family and program. And we finally got our keeper Chocolate Tanpoint girl, the 87th puppy produced at Ferguson Family Danes!

My coaching business has begun to flourish, even as our budget has been tighter than ever. We’ve had to learn how to live tightly, get creative, and steward what we already have—and that lesson alone has been worth the season.

This summer also brought hard news. Grandma was diagnosed with leukemia late in the summer. We’re incredibly thankful she’s still with us and deeply aware of how precious time truly is.

Hayden started a flower business this summer, and we spent Saturdays at the Clarion Farmer’s Market—long days, early mornings, and memories we’ll always treasure.

Through it all—the joy, the stretch, the uncertainty—God has been so good. Faithful in ways both loud and quiet.

Grateful for 2025, and trusting Him as we step into what’s next. ????
