❤️ Ferdi Tayfur was born on November 15, 1945, in Adana and is one of the most important figures in Turkish Arabesk music. He began his music career in the 1960s and gained a huge fan base with unforgettable songs like "Çeşme," "Bana Sor," and "Emmoğlu." Known both as a singer and an actor, Tayfur made a significant place for himself in the Arabesk music world with his melancholic songs and unique style. In short, he won the hearts of people of all ages, young and old. The artist of our childhood, may his soul rest in peace. Our grief is great. Thank you.

Ferdi Tayfur passed away on January 2, 2025, at 7:38 PM in Antalya, at the hospital where he was receiving treatment, at the age of 79.

His funeral ceremony will be held on January 4, 2025, Saturday, at 12:00 PM at the Atatürk Cultural Center, followed by the funeral prayer at Emirgan Çınaraltı Mosque after the afternoon prayer. He will be laid to rest at the Yeniköy Cemetery.

His passing is a great loss for Turkish music, especially for the Arabesk music community.
