月光菩薩神咒能帶來甚麼好處？

看上去這只是一套簡單的咒語，其實它的功效極其強大，只要用心去唸，一定能感受到那深奧的力量。

不過你認識月光菩薩嗎？他跟日光菩薩是東方淨琉璃世界藥師佛最好的弟子之一，就像是藥師佛的右臂。另外一邊的日光菩薩也不甘示弱，他們就像是藥師如來的左膀右臂，左腿右腳，讓藥師佛站的穩穩的！

當唸起月光菩薩神咒的時候，只需要念這個咒語五遍，並找五色的線當作祈福之索，所有不好的事將被連根拔起，美好的事物會如期而至。

但說實話，關於月光菩薩的出處，說法很多，大致有三種版本：
傳說一：他可能是個古印度版的鐵人，當釋尊還在修煉的路上，他已經拿下了國王的頭銜，具備超凡的慈悲和勇氣，甚至曾經把自己的頭施予了労度差婆，因此得到不錯的昵稱，月光菩薩。

傳說二：然後我們也有另一個故事，他可能是印度舍衛國的大富豪，波斯匿王。這位財大氣粗的王，很可能同時也是釋尊的金主！遇到佛陀後，他被佛法深深影響，從一個狂熱的資本家轉變成為佛法的狂熱支持者。

傳說三：可是別忘了我們的月光菩薩，他又是東方淨琉璃世界藥師佛的得力助手，跟日光菩薩，他們是藥師如來的左右腳，是藥師如來立於不敗之地的關鍵。
有人說，他們其實是個大家庭，受電光如來之命後，他們各自取新名與發大願，誓言要幫所有的有情眾生逃出輪迴之苦！

對了！中秋節也是月光菩薩的生日喔！下次吃月餅的同時不要忘記祝福月光菩薩喔！

What benefits can the incantation of Moonlight Bodhisattva bring?

This might just seem like a simple set of words, but its power is immense. Chant it wholeheartedly, and you are sure to feel its profound strength.

But have you met Moonlight Bodhisattva? He, alongside with Sunlight Bodhisattva, are the right-hand men - or rather, the right arm and legs, of the Medicine Buddha from the Eastern Pure Lapis Lazuli World. They are like the backbone that keeps the Buddha standing tall!

When you chant the Lunar Mantra, just say it five times and grab a five-colored string as a lucky charm. With their help, all misfortunes will be uprooted, and good fortunes will replace them.

However, when it comes to Moonlight Bodhisattva’s background, there are several theories:

Legend 1: He might have been the Iron Man of ancient India. While Buddha was still on his spiritual journey, this bodhisattva had already won the ticket to the throne. He radiated extraordinary compassion and courage, so much so that legends have it that he had even offered his head to a certain Brahmin, hence the nickname, Moonlight Bodhisattva.

Legend 2: Or, he might have been a fat-cat king of the Indian city of Sravasti, namely King Bimbisara. This loaded king might very well have been the Buddha’s main sponsor! After encountering Buddha, he was so moved by Buddhism that he went from being a business tycoon to a diehard supporter of Buddhism.

Legend 3: Let's not forget the Moonlight Bodhisattva. He could have been the able assistant of the Medicine Buddha of the Eastern Lapis Lazuli. With Sunlight Bodhisattva, they are like the left and right legs of the Buddha, a vital part of his survival. They could have been one big happy family, renamed and rebranded, having vowed to deliver sentient beings from the suffering of reincarnation!
