I am learning to draw a rose with watercolors at Onehobby school lessons. The most difficult thing was to build a rose in proportion. The teacher showed that the rose should be drawn from the inner petals. She also told how to make voluminous petals based on a cone. What I found interesting is that each petal is drawn separately from the other. Then you can gain a tone and create shadows without worrying that they will merge into one spot. Mostly we painted with wet paint on wet paper. But I wet the paper very little, because the paint behaved unpredictably. I used Rosa Gallery and Roman Szmal paints, namely transparent oxide yellow and quinacridone maroon.

I finished the lesson in 3 evenings. I am satisfied with the result, although I understand that some things still need to be practiced.


Я вчуся малювати троянду аквареллю по уроках школи Onehobby. Найскладніше було побудувати троянду пропорційно. Викладач показала, що троянду потрібно малювати з внутрішніх пелюсток. Також вона розповіла, як робити пелюстки об'ємними на основі конусу. Що мені було цікаво, це те, що кожна пелюстка малюється окремо від іншої. Тоді можна набрати тон, та створити тіні не переживаючи за те, що вони зіллються в одну пляму. Здебільшого ми малювали вологою фарбою по вологому паперу. Але я змочувала папір дуже мало, бо фарба вела себе неаередбачувано. Я користувалась фарбами Rosa Gallery та Roman Szmal, а саме кольором transparent oxide yellow та quinacridone maroon.


Я завершила урок за 3 вечори. Результатом задоволена, хоча розумію, що деякі речі ще треба попрактикувати.
