A mother is holding hope that her 22-year-old daughter is still alive after she was kidnapped by Hamas during its attack on a music festival in southern Israel.
A distressing video emerged of Shani Louk being paraded around semi-naked by Hamas terrorists.
The dual Israeli-German national is reportedly alive but in a critical condition, suffering from a severe head injury.
Shani’s mother, Ricarda, described the whole situation as a “nightmare” as she expressed hope that her daughter would be returned safely.
“You just can’t imagine it as a parent … it breaks you completely at this moment; you don’t know how could this happen?” Ricarda Louk told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
